What is a Unique ID?
Unique ID is a digitally generated ID card. Where all the information of the students will be stored in the form of a database. Unique ID is being created basically to keep all basic and educational information of every student at one place. This card will have a special roll number which the student has to carry during his studies.
CRVS Student profile verification scheme: It is an initiative to save the significant events of the life flow of the citizen in the form of data and ensure all the services of the government are based on it. The main objective of this project is to create a profile database for primary school students in which all information about a student is recorded.
Functional Objectives of the Profiling Project:
- Creating profiles for 2 crores 17 lakh students studying from pre-primary to class 5 and 70 lakh newly admitted students in the 2nd and 3rd years of the project.
- Preparation of profile of newly admitted students in Primary Schools and Abtedayi Madrasas every year.
- Providing unique ID numbers to all primary students.
- Providing other services related to primary education by issuing ID cards to students based on unique ID numbers.
